In collaboration with SOS village, Faisalabad, Rasheeda Saleem Foundation for Human Development has been working to help improve the lives of orphans boys, girls and young adults.

We have also undertaken renovation four of the fifteen homes within the SOS campus. Each home houses one mother and upto nine kids. These houses were built more than 25 years ago and in dire need of repairs. The renovation will include completely renovating the toilets and bathrooms, with new tiles and new sanitary, etc, completely redoing the kitchen. The whole house will have repairs done and repainted at the end. The estimated cost for renovating each house is 3 lakh rupees. The total estimated cost is 12 lakh rupees for the 4 houses. The work has already started.

Uniforms for all the 200 children, as well as their school bags, and food supplies for 3 months were provided by the foundation in March 2012
